【 摘 要 】

By analyzing successively Michelet’s correspondence and the intertext of the Roman History in Salammbô, this essay strives to identify the processes of the subjectivation of history that Flaubert found in his elder.  The chapter in Bouvard et Pécuchet devoted to historians brings the proof, from a contrary position, of the central role of subjectivity, by showing that its absence only dooms to failure the two fellows’ initiation to History.
