【 摘 要 】
The student health promoters of pedagogical careers constitute an important potential for the preparation of man for life and must be conceived as an essential aspect in their integral formation from the university context. However, they have inadequacies in the process of their formation. Therefore, the aim is to establish a pedagogical strategy aimed at the process of training student health promoters in the pedagogical careers of the University of Pinar del Río “Hermanos Saíz Montes de Oca”. The objective of the article is to systematize studies related to health promotion to propose solutions in the training of its promoters. Theoretical, empirical and statistical methods were used in the treatment of the problem and the object of study. The assessment and results of its application from participatory-action research, confirm that the strategy is relevant and contributes to such an important social task, given the impact produced in the context and in the subjects. The pedagogical strategy obtained favors the integration of knowledge, thinking and feeling with the daily actions and integrally develops the potentialities of the student health promoter, which include: me as an individual, me partner-friend, yo-partner and I-educator.
