【 摘 要 】

The article describes the key issues of the Russian-US relations after the advent of B. Obama's administration and the start-up of the «reset» policy. It analyzes the prospects for the further moves in the area of arms control and the reduction of military treats. The author outlines the promising avenues for the multifaceted cooperation of these two countries.
