【 摘 要 】

The ways to improve the activities of enterprises using information technology are analyzed. It is established that for all enterprises, regardless of the goals they pursue and the strategies they implement, developed information systems and information technology in corporate governance are the key success factor that ensures their successful functioning. Information systems and information technology penetrate all spheres of enterprise activity. It is noted that to effectively ensure the operation of enterprises information systems are used, the Internet among them, which allows for carrying out effective management on-line. It is emphasized that the main effective ways of using information technology are the following: automation of document flow in e-office; creation of telecommunication networks and systems; development of information systems, databases, and knowledge in finance, economy, management, and marketing; and development of modern management decision support systems. The main changes in business occurring under the influence of information technology are the following: electronic transactions made directly between the parties without turning to intermediaries; customer service as a defining function in all business areas; necessity to transfer paper-based internal business processes to digital management. With information systems, any organization can change and become more dynamic by improving the three main components of any activity, namely relations with customers, partners, and employees. The rapid development of information technology has made modern business extremely dynamic. Businesses keeping up with the times gain a clear competitive advantage. The most important task of governance is to establish and maintain dynamic interaction of an enterprise with the environment in order to provide the former with benefits in current conditions. It is proved that information technology should be considered one of the factors improving the functioning of enterprises, because nowadays the accuracy and promptness of management decisions become vital, as all decisions are made based on information, and information technology is a highly efficient tool for processing information flows.
