【 摘 要 】

The objective of this article is the development of a Web Application for the Geolocation of Public Transport Stops, due to the fact that the operations for this process are carried out manually and poorly. The diagnosis of the current transport situation, identification of reference points and public transport stops is proposed. For the economic, operational and technical feasibility of the Hardware and Software to be developed, a web application was built in an appropriate language and for the fulfillment of the objectives the RUP methodology "The Rational Unified Process or Unified Process of Rational", this methodology based on 4 procedures or phases, guaranteeing the development of an application where the risks of failures are minimized and the obtaining of satisfactory results, this research is descriptive, in marked in the modality of Feasible Project supported by a study of a descriptive nature and work field. The Web Application to be implemented complies with the legal and juridical bases of the Venezuelan State, where the objectives set were also met.
