【 摘 要 】

The conflict is at the base of Nanni Balestrini's research, which has always focused on an analysis of language, its ambivalence and ambiguity, both in a more strictly literary context and in a most openly one related to verbal visual research. In this intervention I propose a reflection on this aspect of the artist's work, devoting particular attention to some performances that Balestrini designed and produced during the sixties, such as the intervention at Teatro delle mostre, in the spring of 1968. Within such a vast and articulated production I believe that it is interesting to briefly analyze the first performances that Balestrini carried out, in which he brings the word into the physical space of experience and, depriving it of its traditional support, makes it concrete and therefore capable of coinciding with action. These experiences seem to be illustrating, almost metaphorically, the register in which the author's production should be placed, especially in relation to the idea of conflict.
