【 摘 要 】
Super alloys are generally used in applications where properties such as high temperature, strength andcorrosion resistance are required. Since these applications require welding during manufacturing, welding ofsuper alloys has to be in compliance with requirements per given standards. Inconel 718, a Fe-Ni based superalloy was chosen for this research. In this research the mechanical properties of welded parts were compared tothe mechanical properties of the parent materials. The result of tensile testing was compared on samples thathad TIG and electron beam welding (EBW) applied.
