Our understanding of the past is highly influenced/leaded by the “lens” (readings,ideologies, etc.) that have guided us through approaching realities of a specific period of time. In thisarticle, we will discuss the cultural dimension of international relations characteristic for the interwarperiod , emphasizing , while tracing back on Romanian historiography, the aspects regarding the rolethat the International Institute of Intellectual Cooperation had in organizing the scientifically study ofIR and the specific participation of Romania within this League of Nations‘ body activity.
