【 摘 要 】

This article investigates how mediation of literary text helps to construct and transform objects taught in the French foreign language classroom. In other words, we look at what is effectively taught when teachers use a literary text as a teaching aide in the foreign language classroom.Our work hypothesizes that in a foreign language classroom, the text has a particular status since it is both object and medium. Our contribution aims to show how this tension is created by analysing a study activity devoted to the reformulation of a dialogue in a Fable de la Fontaine « The Wolf and the Lamb ».
