【 摘 要 】
Advances of a study on processes of gender identity, age and ethnicity in the surge and the group dynamics of peasantand Indigenous young 'band' people are discussed as well as their links to life expectations of the youth, to violence, andsocial cohesion, their transcendencies in the patriarchal order and the interculturality in the community of San MateoOzolco, settlement of the municipality of Calpan, Puebla. The community youth context is characterized by a persistentschool dropout, the worsening of unemployment and impoverment, as well as a constant and intensified migrationwithin Mexico, specially to Mexico City, and to the USA. This migration has undergone transformations, including returnbeing a phenomenon that puts in evidence the social, domestic and community organization and coexistence withregard to the capacity of integrating young 'band' people into their communality.
