[english] From September 24 to 26 2012 the Annual Meeting of the German MLA (AGMB) took place at the RWTH Aachen University. It was co-hosted by the University Library and the Medical Library of the RWTH Aachen University. Main topics of the conference were Open Access Publishing, the influence of the internet and electronic resources on the changing demands and expectations of the scientists towards the libraries, innovation management and new fields of activity for medical libraries.The program included exhibitions, workshops and product reviews by the participating companies as well as two workshops about citation management programs and information retrieval.
[german] Vom 24. bis 26. September 2012 fand an der RWTH Aachen die Jahrestagung der Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Medizinisches Bibliothekswesen (AGMB) e.V. statt. Gastgeber waren die Hochschulbibliothek und die Medizinische Bibliothek der RWTH Aachen. Hauptthemen waren das Open Access Publishing, durch Internetnutzung und E-Medien veränderte Anforderungen und Wünsche der Wissenschaftler an die Bibliotheken, Innovationen und ein Ausblick auf neue Aufgabenfelder. Eine Firmenausstellung und Firmenworkshops, Product Reviews sowie zwei Fortbildungsworkshops über Literaturverwaltung und Datenbankrecherche ergänzten das Programm.
