【 摘 要 】

Higher education has very important roles in developing countries and achieving their scientific and educational goals.In university, the teachers have a major role in achieving educational objectives, they are the backbone of the high educational system, and they are arguably the most important group of professionals for the nation’s future. The present survey is about the teacher-researcher in Algeria, it will deal, especially, in terms of managing the human resources, with the set of arrangements governing the career of these staffs: the recruiting conditions, the rights and obligations, the modes of advancement, the ranks of this profession, the formation, the remunerations.
