【 摘 要 】
Background: In recent years, there has been an increase in physical and mental health problems among students in Secondary School. 1 of 3 students quit their education before completion. The Knowledge Promotion of 2016 promotes the goal that the students are to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge in order to be able to master their lives. We wish to shed light on how physiotherapists may contribute to fulfill these intentions.Research Question: What characterizes the physiotherapist’s work in interaction with students in Secondary School?Method: Individual in-depth interviews with two physiotherapists working in Secondary School. We made use of a semi-structured interview guide. Conclusion: An holistic understanding creates the basis for the physiotherapists meeting with the students, where developing their mastering skills is the main intention. The phenomenological understanding is reflected in how the physiotherapists base their work on the students’ as well as their own bodily experience; their «lived body».
