【 摘 要 】

The hyperlink movie (or network narratives), part of the multi-protagonists movies, showcases several intertwined storylines. This article analyzes the genre and draws comparisons and distinctions to neighboring genres. The success of the hyperlink movie is possibly due to the visual depiction of interwoven narratives that allow the viewer to more easily comprehend the story ; as opposed to the way complex narratives are presented in hypertext fiction or interactive experiences. After exploring the theory of hypertext, the discussion moves to the interactive possibilities of the hyperlink films.
