【 摘 要 】

The registrar and exhibition coordination department has an important position in the Museum of the City of Strasbourg. It is placed under the direct authority of the Director of Museums. It works in a transversal way and cooperates with the curatorial departments of the eleven museums of the City, the other transversal departments (communication, technical, administrative, etc.), many external service providers and other services of the City. It develops and supports the preventive conservation policy sought by the direction of the Museums. To complete the tasks imparted to the service, working methods have had to be rethought and restructured in order to assert a position and to impose a unified system to all Museums. The registrar and exhibition coordination department is a service offering specific skills. It is consulted for its expertise and aims to unify the practices.This positioning is at the center of a strategy of prevention.
