【 摘 要 】

Laza K. Lazarevic, a doctor and writer, lived 39 years. He published 72 scientific papers in Serbian and German journals. The most important paper was Ischias postica Cotunnii-a contribution for making the differential diagnosis. He also wrote nine stories. He was appointed a member of Serbian Royal Academy of Science in Belgrade. He was the founder of gerontology in Serbia.
