【 摘 要 】
Impinging jet is of high importance for indoor air quality applications and their heat transfer capacities (flux, temperatures ...) should be considered simultaneously with other aspects of the flow such as acoustic generation. The dissipation of the kinetic energy of the jet impinging on a wall is transformed into acoustic waves and thermal effect. Thus, an experimental study was conducted to investigate the influence of a heated plate impinged by a rectangular jet on the acoustic field for a Reynolds number Re=3720. It is found that the acoustic level can change by 10% when the plate is heated. The spectrum of the acoustic signal showed changes during the heating process.
