【 摘 要 】

This article studies the part taken by the doctors in the witchcraft’s lawsuits in the 17th century. They testify that their knowledge can be determinant to precise the reality of the possession. For that, they observe the corps, handle them, interpret the symptoms. They tell a medical discourse, in particular for explicate the insensitivity of some bodies’ parts. Without encroach on theology, they have to separate the natural and the supernatural. Like this the doctors increase little by little their power, imposing their knowledge. Progressively, the science prevail over the religion.
