【 摘 要 】

"Islamic tourism" has entered to agenda of the world tourism sector in recentyears. Moreover, this phenomenon has attracted the attentions of some countries thatdo not have Muslim population. Some effort has been made to develop this newtourism sector in our country. In fact, half of the Islamic tourism facilities in the worldare located in Turkey. Islamic tourism in our country has a share of about 4% in thetourism sector. This rate is quite insufficient for Turkey, which aims to groweconomically, increase employment and reduce foreign trade deficit. Within thisscope, three laws, a cabinet decision and a strategic plan have been examined bydocument scanning method. Many legal incentive clauses in the tourism sector havebeen identified in Turkey. Unfortunately, no regulation or plan related to "IslamicTourism" has been found. It is thought that the Islamic tourism should be promoted bylegal regulations in order to improve the tourism sector. At the end of the study somesuggestions habe made about incentives.
