【 摘 要 】

Governments recognized that a sustainable future requires solving new problems of a rapidlychanging world in an innovative and interdisciplinary way. The importance to prepare learnersfor innovative thinking is for example expressed in educational goals (OECD Education 2030; UN2030 Global Goals for Sustainable Development (SDGs), 2018).STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education first came aboutthrough development in the field of education, which realized that not only content, but higherorder thinking is needed (De Boer, 1991; Sanders et al., 2011). Further, global evolution in educationtook place, and pedagogies emerged to engage all students in STEM fields. Art was added andthought to engage students, foster inclusive and gender equal classrooms, and therefore helpingto achieve success and promote critical and creative thinking of all students (Bae et al., 2014; Harrisand de Bruin, 2017). This resulted in an integration of the creative arts within the scientific andtechnical disciplines, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics).
