【 摘 要 】

This paper aims to reflect on male subjectivity construction and its impact in man's health. The essay methodology was chosen since we decided to evaluate and explores this issue. First, morbidity and mortality data were analyzed and disclosed an excess of male mortality that transcends the violence figures, already well studied by others researchers. The next part tries to establish a relationship between social and cultural issues related to male subjectivity construction and their contribution to male morbimortality prejudice. On the third part, using the bioethical perspective, how those problems result in unbalanced distributive justice as well as inequity in providing male population health care are discussed. In conclusion, one can realize that public health policies pay little attention to man's health and, as a consequence, settle unattainable health services.
