【 摘 要 】
Background:Culturaldifferencesbetweencountriesmayleadtodifferentdecision-makingstyles.Thismaycontributetovariedstylechoicesbeingusedbymanagers(indiversecountries),whoplaykeyrolesinorganizations’decision-makingprocesses.Objectives:Thepresentstudywasconductedtoanalyzedecision-makingmodelsusedbyhealthsystemmanagersinIran.PatientsandMethods:Thiswasaqualitativeresearchstudyconductedbyinterviews.Theparticipantsincluded30healthsystemmembersemployedatmicro,intermediateandmacrolevels.Inadditiontothequalitativecomponentoftheresearch,aftercodingtheresponseswereused.Togatherqualitativedata,participantswereinvitedtoillustratetheirviewsandperceptionsofhowtheyprocessedallocationdecisionsincomplexsystemsandwhatfactorstheyapplied.Datasaturationwasreachedifanexaggeratedresponsewasfoundduringanalysisoftheinterview,andtheresponsewasremovedfromthesample.Results:Thecollaborative,authoritysubmissionandconsultativedecision-makingstyleswerethemostwidelyusedamongIranianhealthsystemmanagers.Themostwidelyusedinformationsourcesfordecision-makingwereofficialinformation,internalexperts’opinions,mentalbackgroundandregulations,andupperleveldocuments.Furthermore,16.7%ofthemanagersbelievedthattheyalwayshadfreedomindecision-making.Therewasnosignificantassociationbetweenmanagers’decision-makingmodelandtheirpositionlevelsinthesystem,ortheirlevelofeducation.Conclusions:Crisisfrominsideorout-sidetheorganizationcanaffecthealthsystemmanagers’decision-makingprocesses.Duringthedecision-makingprocess,themostcommonrestrictionscanbeattributedtoashortageofmanpowerandothersources.
