【 摘 要 】
Theabdominalwallisanuncommonsiteofextrapelvicendometriosis,whichusuallydevelopsinaprevioussurgicalscaranditshouldbeconsideredinthedifferentialdiag-nosisofanyabdominalswelling.Endometriosisinvolvingtherectusabdominismuscleisaveryrareeventanditsrarityexplainstheincompletenatureofthereportsintheliterature.Thetrueincidenceofendometriosisisunknown,butitisestimatedthat15percentoffemaleshavesomedegreeofthedisease.Itissecondonlytodysmenorrheaastheetiologyforcyclicpaininfemalesofreproductiveage.Wereportthecaseofwhichcametoourobservation,awomanwithendometriosisoftheabdominalwall.Thediagnosiswasmadebythehistopathologicalanalysisofthespecimens.
