【 摘 要 】

Introduction:Addictiontoopioidsposesseriousproblemsforcommunities,families,andindividuals.Solutionssometimesseemuncertain,difficult,andcontroversial.Mostofpatientscannottoleratedrugabstinencepermanentlyandtheycontinuetolivethroughpreparingandusingdrugspermanentlyifthereisnomethodofmaintenancetreatment.MethadoneMaintenancetreatment(MMT)hasbecomeamajorinterventioninthecareandtreatmentofdrugdependenceinmanycountries.NowMMTisusedasamaintenancemethodinSariandwedecidedtoevaluatethismethodinaddictedpatientsinprivateMMTclinic.MethodandMaterials:Thiscross-sectionaldescriptivestudywasperformedfromApril2009toApril2010inallpatientswhohavebeenreferredfortreatmenttotheprivateMMTclinicduringthisyear.Thetoolsforsearchingwereepidemiologicquestionnaire,patientsfileandinterview.Collecteddatawasanalyzedusingthedescriptivestatistics.Results:Datacollectedfrom200patientswereanalyzed.Mostpatients(142patients)wereurban.44patients(22%)hadfinishedhighschooland36(18%)hadhighereduca-tions.155patientsuseopium.85patientshavetreatmenthistoryoftheiraddictioninrecentyears.38(19%)subjectshadsuspicioussexualrelations.67(33.5%)caseshaddepressionand68(34%)oneshadaggressivebehavioronthebasisofDSM-IVcriterion.66patients(33%)hadfull-timejobs.Conclusion:ThisstudyshowsthemostcommonsubstancethatuseinIranisstillopium.Anditusesinallrangeofages.Alargenumberofourpatientshadfinishedhighschoolandhighereducationdegrees.Soitshowstheimportanceofpreventivestrategiesinsociety
