【 摘 要 】
Itisshownthathigh-energyparticlescreatestablestructuraldefectsinthecorundumsinglecrystallatticeduetoknocking-outofatomsfromtheirstandardpositionsinanionandcationsub-lattices.ThesedefectsaremainlyassociatedwithFandF+centersaswellaswithothervacancies,interstitialsandcomplexdefectssuchas[Ali+F]typeaggregatecenters.Amechanismof“radiationmemory”incorundumsinglecrystalsconsistinginrestorationofsomeopticalabsorptionbandswithin190-315nmrangeafterirradiationandthermaltreatmentathightemperatureswithsubsequentX-rayirradiation,isdiscussed.
