【 摘 要 】

Apatientwith22yearsand6monthsofagecameintothedentalofficeconcernedabouther"crookedteeth";attheinspectionshehasabilateralclassIIImolar,bilateralclassIcanine,ontheradiographicsethasaclassIIskeletal,hyperdivergent,atthecaststudiesthereisamoderateupperanlowercrowding,crossbiteat12and15andanterioredgetoedgerelantionship.TreatmentconsistedinthecorrectionofthemaxillaryandmandibularcrowdingobtainingclassImolarratiomaintainbilateralClassIcaninerelationship,afteralignmentcorrection,leveling,stripping,finishingandretention.ThelossofanchoragewasmadethroughintermaxillaryclassIIIelasticandmidlineapproach.TheapplianceusedwastheRothprescriptionbrackets0.22x0.28,directbondingtubesat6#39;sand7#39;s.Retentionwasconductedbyanupperandlowerwraparound,fixedretainerfrom3to3andupperandlower.Theactivetreatmenttimewas1yearand1month.
