【 摘 要 】

Dentomaxillaryanomaliescanaltercraniofacialgrowth,leadingdentoskeletaldeformities,psychologicalproblemsanddisturbancesinothersystemssuchasrespiratory,digestiveandlearning.Theobjectiveofthisresearchwastodeterminetheprevalenceofabnormalmaxillarydentoteenageschool"MiguelCorderoCrespo"CantonCuencaprovinceofAzuay,agedbetween12a14years.Inthisdescriptivecross-sectionalstudy,aclinicalexaminationwasperformedat102adolescentsrandomlyfromthetotalstudentsselectedestablishment.Theresultswere:version(24.5%),deepbite(10.7%),visavisbite(10.7%),openbite(8.8%),crossbite(1.9%)inverted(0.9%)bitevestibularinclination(14.4%),Lingualizaciónorpalatalización(12.7%),ectopicteeth(7.6%),intrusionsandextrusions(3.3%),crowding(8.4%)andothers(11.8%).Thepatternsobservedinorderoffrequencyare:tonguethrusting,mouthbreathingandfilingofobjects.Weconcludethatthereisahighprevalenceofdento-maxillaryanomaliescloselywithdeforminghabits.
