Length-Weight and Length-Length Relationships of Fish Species in Kirmir Stream and its Tributaries (Suveri and Ilhan Stream) of Sakarya River, Turkey

【 摘 要 】

Thisstudywasconductedtodeterminelength-weight(LWR)andlength-length(LLR)relationshipsfor10fishspeciescaughtbyelectrofishingbetweenAugust2005andJuly2006inKirmirStreamanditstributaries(SuveriandIlhanStream)ofSakaryaRiver,CentralAnatolia,Turkey.Thelength-weightrelationships(LWR)exponentbvaluesrangedfrom1.940inCobitistaenia(Linnaeus,1758)to3.377inGobiogobio(Linnaeus,1758).Thebvaluesofthelength-weightrelationships(LWR)forCapoetasieboldi(Steindachner,1864)andAlburnusorontis(Sauvage,1882)werecloseto3indicatingtheisometricgrowth(b=3,p<0.05).Thebvaluesofthelength-weightrelationships(LWR)exhibitedapositiveallometricgrowthinSqualiuscephalus,Barbusplebejus(Heckel,1843),andGobiogobio(Linnaeus,1758)(b>3,p<0.05),versusanegativeallometricgrowthinCapoetabaliki(Heckel1843),Alburnoidesbipunctatus(Bloch,1782),Chondrostomaregium(Heckel,1843),Cobitistaenia(Linnaeus,1758)andOxynoemacheilusangorae(Steindachner,1897)(b<3,p<0.05).Allthelength-weightrelationships(LWR)andlength-lengthrelationships(LLR)werestatisticallysignificant(r2>0.550,p<0.05andr2>0.754,p<0.05).
