【 摘 要 】

AnAfro-tropicalspecies,Rousettusaegyptiacus(Geoffroy,1810),istheonlyfrugivorousbatdistributedinAntalya,Mersin,AdanaandHatayprovincesinTurkey.Despitevariousstudiesontaxonomy,distribution,karyology,bioecologyandmoleculargeneticsbeingundertaken,norecentdatahasbeenestablishedonthelateststatusofthefruitbatpopulationsinTurkey.ThetwolargestpermanentcoloniesfromAdanaandHatayprovinceswereexaminedforthisstudy.WedeterminednegativeanthropogenicthreatsontheRousettusaegyptiacuscoloniesalongwiththeirhabitats.Comparedwiththepreviousrecords,aseriousreductioninnumberswasrecordedinoneofthespecieslargestcolonies.
