ThecompositionandseasonalchangesinthebenthicalgaeoftheBeykavağıPondwithinKonyabordershavebeenperiodicallystudiedthroughApril2010andMarch2011.Moreover,somephysicalandchemicalvaluesofthepondwaterwasincludedasvariable.Ingeneral,Ochrophytaweredominantintermsofspeciesnumberandabundanceduringthestudyperiod.Atotalof77taxabelongingto6divisionshavebeenidentified,includingOchrophyta(35taxa),Cyanobacteria(22taxa),Chlorophyta(14taxa),Charophyta(3taxa),Euglenophyta(2taxa)andMyzozoa(1taxa).Seasonalriseshavebeendensethroughwholeperiodexceptwinterseason.
