【 摘 要 】

Inthisresearch,physicalandsocio-economicaleffectsofsea-levelrisewereanalyzedandsimulatedbasedonaseriesoflandelevationsfortheyears2000to2100respecttotheIntergovernmentalPanelonClimateChange.Thestudyarea,Cukurovadeltacoastalzoneislocatedonthesouth-easternMediterraneancoastofTurkeywhichlies110kmlongfromeasttowestandrepresentsaninternationallyimportantcoastalecosystem.Inordertoevaluatethelandvulnerabilityduetosealevelrise,digitalelevationandgeographicalinformationsystem(GIS)datamodel,socio-economicdata,naturalneighbourinterpolationalgorithmandbasicGISmethodswereused.Modelanalysesshowedustheareabetween0and3mcontourlinewhichistotally101.399hacoastlandswillbelostundertheacceptedscenarioswhichcomprise35.430hawetlands,32.393haagriculturalland,13.202hapasture,4.351hasanddune,3.368hasaltmarshes–swamp,295hasettlementsriver,roadetc.
