【 摘 要 】
Todayvariousorganismsareincreasinglyusedtoremovetoxicheavymetalsfromwaters.Inparticular,studiesinwhichvariousspeciesofhydrophilicorganismsareusedformetalremovalreportvariousresults.Inthisstudy,Scenedesmusquadricaudawhichhaswidedistributioninnaturalwaterswasused.ThealgasampleusedinthestudywasisolatedfromApaDamLake(Konya/Turkey)andwasreproducedinculture.Afterthepurecultureobtained,theremovalofCadmiuminwaterwasexaminedinthreedifferentconditionsoftheorganism.Inthestagesofstudy,directlivingorganism,inactivatedbiomassanddeadbiomasswereused,respectively.TherateofCdioninthewaterwasdiluteddownto0,02-0,30mg/ltsothattheamountofCdionmeasuredcanmatchwiththemeasuringrangeofthespectrophotometerused.Atstabiletemperatures,thepHwaskeptbetween6and8.Themeasurementswereconductedperiodically:everysixhoursforfourdays.Asaresult,thehighestbiosorptionwasininactivebiomass,whichisfollowedbydeadbiomassandlivingorganisms.Moreover,itwasalsofoundoutthatthisspeciesisveryeffectiveintheremovalofheavymetal.Besides,thesamplesmentionedabovewerefilteredinappropriatefilterpaperandtheirweightwasmeasuredtoincreasethereliabilityofthestudy.Itwasobservedthatthemassesofthesamplesincreasedinparallelwithabsorptionamount.
