【 摘 要 】

ThisstudywasundertakentoexaminethepollenmorphologyofsomeoftheexoticshrubsandtreesfoundintheparksandthegardensofEdirne.Inthepresentworkfiveplantspecieswerestudiedinthisrespect,namely:Aesculushippocastanum,Buddleiadavidii,Crataegusoxycantha,ElaeagnusangustifoliaandPhiladelphuscoronarius.Pollensamplesbelongingtothesespecieswereexaminedwithlightphotomicroscopeasregardssomemorphologicalfeatures,principally:pollenshape;size;aperturecharacters;sculptureandstructureoftheexine.Pollengrainsofexaminedspecieswerespheroidalinshapeandmostoftentricolporatetype.ExinelayerofexaminedgrainsexhibitedeutectatestructureexcepttheexineofthePhiladelphuscoronariuswhichexhibitedsemitectatestructure.Exineornemantation(Sculpture)ofpollengrainshaddeterminedasstriateinAesculushippocastanum,Rugulate-PerforateinBuddleiadavidii,Striate-PerforateinCrataegusoxycantha,Psilate-verrucateinElaeagnusangustifoliaandreticulateinPhiladelphuscoronarius.
