【 摘 要 】
Inthisstudy,theeffectsofvariousconcentrationsofNaClandKClonthegrowthcharacteristicsandcellmorphologyofL.monocytogeneswereevaluated.ItwasfoundthatL.monocytogenescangrowinthepresenceof1-9%NaCland1-11%KCl.ThehighertheconcentrationofNaClused,thelongerthelagphaseinduced.Inaddition,itwasobservedthatL.monocytogenestolerateKClbetterthanNaClwhenusingthesamepercentsinbroth.MicroscopicanalysesofL.monocytogenesfollowingincubationrevealedcellelongationunderhighsaltconditions.Thebeginningoffilamentformationwasapparentat5%NaCland7%KClwithanincreaseinfilamentlengthwithincreasingsaltconcentration.
