【 摘 要 】
ThemainobjectiveofthisstudyistodeterminespatialvariabilityinadryonionfieldinEL-Saffagriculturalfarmingvillage,GizaGovernorate,Egypt,andtoproduceamanagementstrategy,whichisbasedonspatialvariabilityofyieldandsoilcomponents.Theonionfieldpropertiesweredeterminedandgiveninmaps.Soilsamplesweretakentodeterminepropertiesofsoilsuchassalt(EC),pH,availableN-P-Kandonionyield.Longitudinalslopewasalsomeasured.Resultswereusedtoproducemaps.Mostpercentageofthefieldsoilswasdeterminedassandtosandyloamtexturedsoilsandloamysandinlowerdepth.Theirsurfaceiscoveredwithmanyfineandmediumgravel.Thefinalgoalofthecurrentstudyistoproducetheapplicationmapsthroughdelineationofthemanagementzones.Itisfoundthatthereisnomuchvariabilityofsalinitybeforeharvest,exceptinthewesternpartofthefield.However,inthenorthernpartsofthefield,thereisabigvariabilityofsalinityandreachinghigherlevels.Yieldofdryonionincreasedbydecreasingoftotalsolublesalts.TherangeofresearchfieldpHfitswellwiththespatialvariabilityrangeprovidedinmoststudyareatomeetsatisfactoryyield.Nitrogenvariableshowedapronouncedtendencyforlocalclusteringofsimilarvalues,withgradualchangesfromareasoflowtohighvaluesfromsouthtonorthdirectionofthesampledarea.Visually,thereisanobviousassociationofavailableKwiththesalinity-relatedcharacteristics,especiallyafteryieldharvest.Contradictory,amanorrelationbetweenPandfieldsalinityconditionsisexisted.Yielddistributionshowedapronouncedtendencyforlocalclustering.AvailableNitrogen,Phosphorus,andPotassiuminthefieldreflectingthegoodnutrientpowersupplyofthestudiedsoilaswellasoniondrybulbsaccordingtotherelatedmaps.ItisevidencethatfertilizationwithN,PandKshouldbeappliedwithrequiredtechnicalsolutionsprotectedaccumulationandleachingofnitrogenandphosphorous.Themodelscanprovidepartialinformationtohelpimprovesoilfertilitytoincreasetheyieldproduction.Theworkreportsonhowsoilvariablesandcropgrowth(statisticalandspatialmodels)canbeusedtoassestherelationshipsbetweenthecropyieldproductionandsoilvariablesandtodelineatedifferentmanagementzonesinthetestarea.Generally,precisionfarmingapplicationsrequirehightechnologybuttherearesomeopportunitiessuchascreatingyieldmapforcropproductionmayapplyinEgypt.
