【 摘 要 】

Theaimoftheworkwastoconductstudiesofmorphologicalfeaturesofarteriesextendingfromtheascendingaortainbroilerchicken.Analysisandcomparisonofthevariabilitywasmadetocontributetotheknowledgeofthecauseofcardiovascularproblemsinbirds.Thestudywasconductedon45broilerchicken.Materialwasobtainedasdeadindividualsasaresultofchance.Arterieswerefilledwithlatexbyamedicalsyringethroughtheleftventricleoftheheart.Thereconstitutedmaterialwasfixedfor4monthsin5%formalinsolution.Arterieswerepreparedandphotographed.Thereweretwoarteriesextendingfrombrachiocephalictrunkinthebasicpattern:thesubclavianarteryandthecommoncarotidartery.Arteriesseparatefromthebrachiocephalictrunkatthesameheight.Inbroilerchickenatendencywasnoticedtoproduceacommondeparturewithinthebrachiocephalictrunk(rightandleft).Independentdepartureofthebrachiocephalictrunkfromtheascendingaortawassimilartotheanatomicalnormindomesticfowl.
