【 摘 要 】

Inthispaper,wedescribeanon-marinemolluskfaunaderivingfromlatemiddleMiocene(lateSerravallian;Sarmatian)depositsofwesternSerbia.Theassemblageencompassesadiverselandsnailfaunawithtwenty-fourspecies,alongwithfourspeciesoffreshwaterpulmonategastropodsandonebivalvespecies.WhiletheaquaticsnailsareubiquitouselementsinEuropeduringthemiddleMiocene,theterrestrialgastropodfauna,consistingofbothcommonandrarespecies,offersthefirstcomprehensiveinsightintolandsnaildiversityontheBalkanPeninsuladuringthattimeandpermitsconclusionsonregionalbiogeography.ThefaunashowshighaffinitiestothemiddleMiocenefaunasofcentralEuropeandsharesonlyfewelementswithwesternandeasternEuropeanandAnatolianassemblages.Ecologically,thefreshwatermolluskspointtoastandingorslowingmoving,probablyhighlyvegetated,lacustrineenvironment.ThelandsnailsindicatethepresenceofhumidforestsaroundLakeVračević,whichisinlinewithcurrentclimaticreconstructionfortheSarmatianofsoutheasternEurope.?VertigovracevicensisNeubauerHarzhausersp.nov.andPisidiummionicenseNeubauer,HarzhauserMandicsp.nov.areintroducedasnewspecies.Discuscostatus(Gottschick,1911)isshowntobeajuniorobjectivesynonymofDiscussolarioides(Sandberger,1872).
