【 摘 要 】

ThestudyofDevonianColombiantrilobitesandinarticulatebrachiopodsallowstorecognizetwobiostratigraphiclevelswithintheFlorestaFormation.Thefirstlevel,inthelowerpartoftheformation,islateEmsianinage,andyields14distincttrilobitetaxa,includingColombianaspiscarvalhoaegen.etsp.nov.Thesecondone,intheupperpartoftheformation,isassignedtotheGivetianbasedontheco-occurrenceofthegeneraDipleuraandGreenops;thisisthefirstrecordofaGivetianagefortheupperpartoftheFlorestaFormation.TheinarticulatebrachiopodscollectedfromtheuppermostpartoftheformationsuggestaGivetianage.InarticulatebrachiopodsaswellasthetrilobitesshowcloseaffinitieswiththeNorthEasternAmericasRealm,buttheyalsosuggestEuropeanaffinities.ThelateEmsianoccurrenceofcalmoniidsfromColombiaisindicativeofrestrictedfaunalexchangeswiththeMalvinokaffricRealm.
