【 摘 要 】

PreservationofontogeneticstagesoftrilobitesfromtheCambrianoftheSkryje-TýřoviceBasin(Barrandianarea)hasbeenknownfromseverallocalitiesintheupperpartoftheBuchavaFormation.ThemostcompleteinformationonexoskeletalchangesduringontogenywasbasedonmaterialassignedbyBarrande(1852)toSaohirsuta.Basedonquantitativemethodsanddetailedstudyofthemorphologyoftheexoskeleton,werecognizethreeprotaspidandtwoearlymeraspidinstarsofSaohirsuta.WealsodescribetheprotaspidstagesoftwoindeterminatetaxaofPtychopariida,oneoriginallydeterminedastheprotaspidesofSaohirsutaandtheotherreferredtobyRůžička(1943)as“Barrande’slarva”.ProtaspidesofSaohirsutahaveanadult-likemorphology,andtheirpresumedbenthicmodeoflifeisconsistentwiththerestrictedpalaeogeographicdistributionofthisgenus.
