【 摘 要 】

Ginkgophytefoliagefossils(impressionsandcompressionslackingcuticle)fromseveralofthehistoricalKupferschieferlocalitiesinGermanyhavebeenre-studiedusingmacromorphometry.BaieradigitataisbyfarthemostcommonginkgophyteintheKupferschiefer,whileothertaxaarerelativelyrare.Anewtaxon,forwhichthenameBaieramansfeldensisisproposed,differsfromB.digitatainhavingamuchthinner,curvedpetioleandacurvedlamina,aswellasanarrowbasalangle.Esterellagracilis,ataxonpreviouslyknownexclusivelyfromFrance,isreportedforthefirsttimefromGermany.ThefoliagegeneraBaieraandSphenobaierahaveacomplicatedtaxonomichistory,andtheproblematiccontiguitythatexistsbetweenthetwotaxahasleadtoconsiderableconfusion.Itappearsthattheradiationoftheginkgophytesstartedwellbeforetheend-Permianmass-extinction,andthatPermianginkgophytesweremorediversethanpreviouslybelieved.
