【 摘 要 】
ThetypespeciesofPseudocyrtodonta,P.alaandothertwospeciesP.incola,P.obtusaareknownfromtheMiddleandUpperOrdovicianofthePragueBasin,Bohemia.Becauseoftheactinodonttypeofthehinge,PseudocyrtodontaisexcludedfromthesubclassProtobranchiaandistransferredtotheAutobranchia,familyCycloconchidae.ThefamilyPseudocyrtodontidaeisconsideredinvalid.EarlyandMiddleOrdovicianCycloconchidaewerehighlydiversified,containing24genera.TheirdiversitysuddenlydecreasedduringtheUpperOrdoviciantothreegeneraonly.ThehingeofPseudocyrtodontacouldbeconsideredmorphologicallyclosetotheancestraltypeofthehingeoftheactinodonts.AcompletespecieslistofOrdovicianactinodonts,includingschematicfiguresoftheirhingeforthemostimportantgeneraispresented.Pseudocyrtodontawasmostprobablyanactiveburrower.
