【 摘 要 】

Largeandwellpreservedmicro-mammalfaunasareavailablefromtheMiddleMiocenefromHungary,butverylittleattentionwaspaidoninsectivores,althoughthisgroupprovidesgoodpalaeoenvironmentalandpalaeogeographicalindication.AsafirststepwereviewthematerialfromSámsonháza3(Hungary,NógrádCounty),basedonbothpublishedandnewfossils.WereportthedimylidPlesiodimylussp.,thesoricidcf.Paenelimnoecussp.andanindeterminateshrew.TheerinaceidsParasorexsp.andLantanotheriumsp.,andthetalpidDesmanodonsp.aredescribedforthefirsttimefromHungariandeposits.ThefaunaindicatesarelativelywetenvironmentandisinagreementwiththeMiddleBadeniancorrelationproposedonthebasisoftherichmolluscanfaunaofthelocality.
