【 摘 要 】
Lower-MiddleMiocenesuccessionfromthe?ahinalicoalfield(SWTurkey)wasanalyzedtoreconstructclimateandvegetation.Thesedimentsmainlyrepresentalacustrinefaciesandconsistofamudstone-marldominatedsuccession,includinglimitedcoarse-grainedclastics.Resultsofmicrofloralandpublishedmacrofloralrecordshavebeenconsidered.ThemainvegetationtypesweremixedmesophyticforestdominatedbyevergreenQuercusandconiferousforestconsistingmainlyofindeterminatePinaceae,PinusandCupressaceae.InthisbeltriparianvegetationincorporateshighproportionsofAlnus,andlessamountsofdeciduousSalix,Ulmus,Pterocarya,Carya,Platanus,ZelkovaandLiquidambar.Herbaceouscomponentsinthepollenspectraareinlowfrequencies,andconsistofPoaceae,Brassicaceae,Chenopodiaceae,Ephedra,AsteraceaeandCaryophyllaceae.Alsothreelocalpollenzonescanberecognizedbasedonthechangesinrelativeabundancesofpalynomorphs.Themicro-andpublishedmacrofloralrecordshavebeensubjectedtotheCoexistenceApproachmethodtoobtainthepalaeoclimate.Meanannualtemperatureisestimatedtobeover14deg;Candmeanannualprecipitationexceeds1000mm.Incombinationwithotherclimateparameters(temperaturesofwarmestandcoldestmonths,precipitationofthewettest,driestandwarmestmonths),thedataindicateverystablewarm-temperatewithhighannualprecipitation.ResultsoftheCoexistenceApproachusingbothsporomorphandleafdatasetsaregoodinagreement,implyinginternalconsistencyinthemethod.Comparedwithmodernmeteorologicalrecords,surroundingsoftheBüyükMenderesGrabenhadsimilartemperatureandhigherprecipitationduringtheEarly–MiddleMiocene.ThisstudycontributestoanunderstandingoftheMiocenevegetationandclimateevolutioninsoutheasternMediterraneanarea.
