Bathonian (Middle Jurassic) cyclostome bryozoans from the Polish Jura

【 摘 要 】

Cyclostomebryozoanassemblagesencrustingbivalveshellsandoncoliths,aswellascomingfromthehostsediment,aredescribedfromtheBathonian(MiddleJurassic)ore-bearingclaysofthePolishJura.Intotal,16speciesbelongingtothegeneraStomatopora,Proboscinopora?,Microeciella,Reptomultisparsa,Hyporosopora,Mecynoecia,Ceriocavaandunidentified‘entalophorids’aredescribed.Twelvetaxacouldnotbedeterminedwithcertaintytospecieslevel.Twospeciesaredescribedasnew:Reptomultisparsakawodrzanensissp.nov.andMecynoeciakaimisp.nov.ThediagnosisofHyporosoporabugajensisZatońTaylor,2009aisemended.Combiningthediversitydatabothfromthisandapreviouslypublishedpaper,atotalof29speciesofcyclostomebryozoansarenowknownfromtheBathonianofthePolishBasin,astratigraphicalstageduringwhichthecyclostomesattainedtheirpeak-diversityfortheJurassic.Thisspeciesrichnessiscomparativelyhigh,approachingthemaximumrecordedforaJurassicassemblage,whichis33speciesintheBathonianofNormandy,Francewherethebryozoansareassociatedwithspongebiohermsandhardgroundsaswellasoncolithsandshellsofbivalvesandbrachiopods.
