Anewaeduellidactinopterygian,Neslovicellaelongatasp.nov.,isdescribedfromtheLowerPermianoftheKrkonošePiedmontBasin(BohemianMassif).ThenewtaxonisbaseduponacollectionofspecimensthatfacilitatedtherevisionofseveralcharactersoftheAeduellidae.N.elongataisdescribedindetailandcomparedtootheraeduellids.AsecondoccurrenceofthisspeciesintheWeissigBasinofGermanyisalsodiscussed.
