【 摘 要 】
Aaveqaspisinesonigen.etsp.nov.,isdescribedfromthelowerCambrianSiriusPassetFossil-LagerstätteofPearyLand,NorthGreenland.Ithasasemicircularheadshieldandathoraxwith5tergites.Thetailshieldcarries2pairsofspines,themostanteriorofwhichisenormousanddominatesthetrunk.A.inesonilacksanypreservedtraceofeyes,asisalsothecasewithseveralotherSiriusPassetarthropods,suggestingthatthefossilsaccumulatedindeeperwaterthanthecontemporaneousChengjiangFossil-LagerstätteofChinaorthemiddleCambrianBurgessShaleassemblagesofBritishColumbia.
