【 摘 要 】
Theauthorarguesthat,undercertainconditions,theuseofsubstancestoenhancethemoralbehaviorofhumanbeingsisnotonlyethicallyacceptablebutalsomandatory.Heintendstoprovethisargumentbyproposingthreemaingoals.First,todemonstratehowinterventionsusingserotoninandoxytocincouldenhancehumanmoraliyinordertodecreaseaggressiveness,increasewillingnesstocooperateandimproveempathy.Second,tojustifythatsuchinterventionsareneededbothtofacethegreatinjusticesandtoensurethesurvivalofourspecies.Andthird,toreplythoseobjectionssayingthattheuseofsuchsubstancescouldleadtocounterproductiveeffectsandtoalienateenhancedpeople.
