【 摘 要 】
L-arginineisasemi-essentialaminoacidthatfoundnaturallyinfood.IthasbeenshownthatadministrationoflargedosesofL-argininecaninduceacutepancreatitis.Inthepresentstudy,weevaluatedifsimvastatin,a3-hydroxy-methylglutarylcoenzymeAreductase(HMG-CoAreductase)inhibitor,mightpreventacutepancreatitisinducedbyL-arginine.ThirtymaleWistarratswererandomlyallocatedtofivegroups.Groupswere:DMSO,saline,simvastatin,L-arginine,andsimvastatinwithL-arginine.Twentyfourhoursafterthelastdose,ratsweresacrificedandtheirbloodwascollectedfromheartforbiochemicalanalysis.Pancreatictissueswereobtainedforanalysisofglutathioneperoxidase(GPx),glutathiones-transferase(GST),lipidperoxidelevels(MDA)andhistologyanalysiswasexaminedforpancreas.ResultsindicatedthattreatmentwithsimvastatinsignificantlyenhancedlevelsofGPxandGSTanddecreasedlipidperoxidelevelsinducedbyL-argininecomparedtothevehicle.Moreover,histopathologicalanalysisfurtherconfirmedthatadministrationofsimvastatinrelativelypreventedpancreaticacinarcelldamagecomparedtothoseanimalsreceivedL-argininealone.ThesefindingspointedouttheprotectiveroleofsimvastatinagainstacutepancreatitisinducedbyhighdosesofL-arginine.(IJPPP1301003).
