【 摘 要 】

Advancetherapieswhicheffectivelyreducemortalityinlungcancerpatientsbecomeaglobalhealthchallengenowadays.Sufficientknowledgeregardingcellularandmolecularbasisofcancerprogressionandmetastasiswouldpossiblyhelpinthedevelopmentofnovelandeffectivestrategiesforthetreatmentofthisdisease.Thisreviewfocusesontheinformationregardingtheroleandmechanismofcaveolin-1(Cav-1)proteinonanoikisinNonSmallCellLungCancer(NSCLC).NSCLCaccountsofapproximately80%ofalldiagnosedlungcancercaseswhichpatientsfrequentlypresentedwithmetastaticdisease.Likeothercancers,caveolin-1(Cav-1)hasbeenshowntoplayanimportantroleinregulatingcancer-cellsbehaviorsincludingapoptosisresistanceandmetastasis.Eventhoughfurtherinvestigationsaswellasinvivoexperimentsarerequired,thesedataareofgreatinterestandmaybebeneficialtothedevelopmentoflungcancertherapy.(IJPPP1207001).
