【 摘 要 】
Bothdanshen(D)andgegen(G)haveprovenrelaxanteffectsonvascularsmoothmuscle,thustheirpotentialbladderinhibitoryeffectshaveimpendinginterestsinurology.TheaimofthisstudywastodemonstratethenoveleffectsofDandGondetrusorsmoothmusclecontractility.Urothelium-intact(+UE)andurothelium-denuded(#8211;UE)detrusorstripswereisolatedfromtherat.Isometrictensionwasmeasuredusingamyographsystem.Carbachol(CCh)wasusedtopre-contractthedetrusorstripspriortostepwiserelaxationbyaddingextractsofD,G,andaDG(7:3)formulation.Tonicrelaxationlevelandphasiccontractileactivityundertheherbaltreatmentswereanalyzed.Therewasnodifferenceintheherbaleffectsbetween+UEand#8211;UEstrips.DaloneinducedamuchsmallerrelaxationthanGaloneorDG.GalonealsosuppressedphasicamplitudebutnotphasicfrequencywhileDGsuppressedbothparameters.DandGactedsynergisticallytoyieldtheobservedeffectsondetrusorsmoothmuscle.ThefindingsshowedthattheDGformulationwereabletorelaxthedetrusoraswellassuppressphasiccontractions,bothactionsimportantinmaintainingnormalbladderfillingandurinestorageprocesses.HenceDGmayhavenewapplicationinthemanagementofbladderdisorders.(IJPPP1201001).
